I made this recipe for our Smith “T” edition party and it was delicious! People kept going back for more.
(makes about 16 servings)
1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese – softened
3 cups cold milk
2 packages (3.4 oz. each) vanilla instant pudding
1 tub (8 oz.) Cool Whip – thawed
48 Nilla Wafers – approximately
1/2 cup brewed coffee – cooled
2 squares semi-sweet chocolate – grated
1 cup fresh raspberries – optional
Beat the cream cheese with a hand mixer until creamy.
Gradually beat in the milk and pudding mixes.
Stir in 2 cups Cool Whip.
Line a 2.5 quart trifle bowl with about 24 wafers and drizzle them with 1/4 cup of the coffee.
Top with half of the pudding mixture and half of the chocolate.
Repeat layers, starting with the wafers again.
Top with the remaining Cool Whip and raspberries.
Refrigerate for 2 hours.
